Installation

The Engineering Company for Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance and Installations (ENG WORLD TECH) The process of installing commercial laundry equipment is a crucial step to ensure the efficiency, performance, and operational continuity of the equipment. This process demands high precision and expertise, and our company provides this with full competence, starting from site inspection, preparation of drawings, and conducting a feasibility study to calculate the equipment loads with appropriate weights for each specific location to ensure a correct and safe installation.
🛠️ Key Installation Phases
1. Site Inspection and Preparation:
• Space and Ventilation: Ensuring there is enough space for the equipment placement and movement, in addition to adequate ventilation.
• Dimensions and Weights: Taking the dimensions and weight of the equipment into account to determine the space requirements and the foundation load capacity.
• Foundation: Ensuring that the floor can withstand the weight of the equipment and vibrations (especially for fixed or hard-mount washers).
2. Equipment Installation and Utility Connections:
• Water Connections (Plumbing):
o Connecting hot and cold water lines.
o Installing a drainage network with appropriate piping (often plastic to avoid reaction with chemicals) and with a capacity to accommodate the simultaneous operation of several machines to prevent clogs and flooding.
o Ensuring that all connections and valves are tight and that there are no leaks.
• Electrical Connections:
o Providing dedicated electrical circuits for each machine. o Preparing appropriate voltage connections, as high-capacity washers and dryers often require 240V connections, while smaller units operate on standard 120V.
• Gas and Steam Connections:
o In case of using gas-powered dryers or steam presses, safe gas connections and proper ventilation must be ensured. o Connecting steam networks if using steam boilers and ironing presses.
3. Setting Adjustment and Programming:
• Machine Leveling: Ensuring that the machines are precisely leveled using vibration dampeners to increase their lifespan and reduce noise.
• Programming appropriate washing and drying cycles for the type of operation.
4. Testing and Commissioning:
• Conducting a performance test and a trial run to ensure all connections and systems are working correctly.
• Training on the correct use of the equipment and safety systems.
